Erin Halla

Erin is a fine artist and designer based in North Vancouver, B.C. She attended Simon Fraser University for 3 years, studying Visual Arts, where she developed a conceptual practice, followed by a 5 year interim spent developing her health and fitness career. This time spent in wellness deeply impacted her work by opening her up to a practice of self reflection, and themes from her own inner world often show up in her work today. Greatly impacted by her love of nature, and time spent making up fairytales in the forest, her artwork explores the human experience through paintings and illustrations that depict figures, natural elements, and expressive brush strokes. These paintings express the human search for connection to self, connection to others, connection to the land, and an overall connection to the greater tapestry that we are all a part of. Her work is composed in a way that creates flow as your eye travels across the image, and her designs bring a sense of joy and calm.
