Aurélie Dève
I'm Aurélie Dève, a French illustrator and surface pattern designer based near Chartres in France, working independently since 2008. My inspiration comes from tropical plants and lush vegetation, dense foliage, the calm abundance of a jungle. I draw everything by hand on an iPad, in a palette built around greens, with pink, yellow, ochre and coral. Our walls and our days can be grey. Wherever I can bring back colour and a little sunshine, I want to do it.
