Kathrin Legg, geboren in Duitsland en opgegroeid in Australië, woont met haar man en twee kinderen in de stad Newcastle, met zijn witte zandstranden en bergachtig Australisch achterland. Kathrin voltooide een Bachelor of Fine Arts aan de Universiteit van Newcastle en werkt nu als ontwerper van oppervlaktepatronen vanuit haar zonnige studio, waar ze zowel traditionele als digitale media gebruikt om haar ontwerpen en collecties te creëren.
