My name is Andrea Haase and I have been working as a full time artist for the last 20 years. Over time, I developed a lot of skills and styles but not THE only one signature style that defines me as an artist. I am simply too versatile and curious to settle on one artistic style. I far too much love trying new things, learning other techniques and experimenting with materials and tools. In that respect, I'm like a child and art is my playground. That's why my portfolio is a mix of vintage and modern, handmade and digital, realistic and surreal and it is spanning several artistic techniques, subjects and eras. But I have a particular soft spot for anything old and historic - vintage botanical illustrations, old maps, ornaments and drawings from bygone eras. Just digging up these finds is a great pleasure, as is editing and then using them in my compositions. I love the stories these old illustrations tell and how they find their way back to the present day in modern products. I am proud that my artwork is now licensed worldwide and that I am making life a little more colorful for many people all around the globe
