Georgia Chagas est née le 24 novembre 1977 dans la ville de Rio de Janeiro, où elle vit actuellement. Toujours passionnée pour s'exprimer par la parole et l'écriture, mais elle ressentait le besoin de rechercher de nouvelles formes d'expressivité. Elle débute sa trajectoire artistique en 2011, marquée par une agitation quotidienne et tous les enjeux qui traversent le féminin et ses fissures, où le rôle existentiel joué par l'artiste se déploie à travers la peinture. De par sa profonde sensibilité, elle manifeste à travers une expressivité libre toutes les différentes formes de Sentiments. Autodidacte. Une grande partie de son travail a été réalisée sur un mode "intuitif", car, lorsqu'elle est touchée, elle entre en contact avec ses propres émotions, s'éloignant de son épistémologie. L'artiste veut toucher l'autre et l'emmener dans un espace intérieur intime de l'Être.
