Georgia Chagas è nata il 24 novembre 1977 nella città di Rio de Janeiro, dove attualmente vive. Da sempre appassionata di esprimersi attraverso la parola e la scrittura, ma sentiva il bisogno di cercare nuove forme di espressività. Inizia il suo percorso artistico nel 2011, segnato da un'inquietudine quotidiana e da tutte le questioni che attraversano il femminile e le sue fessure, dove il ruolo esistenziale svolto dall'artista si dispiega attraverso la pittura. Grazie alla sua profonda sensibilità, manifesta attraverso una libera espressività tutte le diverse forme del Sentimento. Autodidatta. Gran parte del suo lavoro è stato prodotto in una modalità "intuitiva", perché, se colpita, entra in contatto con le proprie emozioni, allontanandosi dalla sua epistemologia. L'artista vuole toccare l'altro e portarlo in uno spazio intimo interiore dell'Essere.
