Ninola significa creare rivelando le potenzialità di uno spirito gioioso, liberando il bambino dimenticato che è in ognuno di noi, onestamente e senza pregiudizi, inventando nuove modalità espressive, alla continua ricerca dell'inesistente, per l'inaspettato e il sorprendente, l'emozione del gioco e del divertimento, l'entusiasmo, la forza dei colori e l'ingenua curiosità dell'innocenza. Pazienza, cura, riflessione, amore per il dettaglio, competenza sono presenti in tutto ciò che fa. Ninola elogia lo spirito degli artigiani, le loro botteghe, le arti e mestieri, il fatto a mano, la saggezza vernacolare. Reinterpretando tecniche e saperi antichi e adattandoli alla modernità, la bellezza ereditata, da cui tutti noi partiamo, viene protetta. Come artista, ama dipingere e illustrare, giocare e sperimentare con trame e sfumature, rilasciando la mano in modo intuitivo e sconfinato. Così i fiumi di acquerelli e inchiostri sono il suo modo di esprimersi più amato, la loro casualità e imprecisione, l'elemento intrinseco della fortuna e della sorpresa, che rendono ogni opera irripetibile, ognuna un ordine spontaneo… Dove scorrono i colori.
